Terms and Conditions

1. Scope and provider

These terms and conditions apply to the booking of telc German exams via this website. The provider is Lernwerkstatt Pflege GmbH, Liebigstraße 14–16, 35390 Gießen, Germany (the “examination centre“).

2. Conclusion of contract

By submitting the booking form, you make a binding reservation for the selected date and exam variant. You choose whether to pay online by card or on site.

Online payment: The contract is concluded upon successful payment; you will receive a confirmation by email immediately afterwards. If payment is not completed within 30 minutes, the reservation lapses and the seat is released again. Where a discount code removes the fee entirely, the contract is concluded upon our confirmation by email.

Payment on site: The contract is concluded upon our reservation confirmation by email. The examination fee is payable at our office no later than 14 days before the examination date, in cash or by card. This payment option is only available if more than 14 days lie between booking and examination date. If payment is not received in time, we will contact you; we reserve the right to reallocate the seat thereafter.

3. Registration deadline and personal details

Registration is possible up to 14 days before the examination date. After that we can no longer accept bookings, as we must register participants with telc gGmbH in good time.

For registration we need your gender, date of birth, place and country of birth, native language and your address in Germany. You enter these after booking, via the personal link you receive by email. The details must reach us in full no later than 14 days before the examination date. If they do not, we cannot register you for the exam; there is no claim to a refund in this case.

Please enter your details exactly as they appear in your identity document, as they will appear on the certificate. Subsequent changes are only possible up to the registration deadline.

4. Services, variants and prices

You can book the oral part, the written part or the full exam. The prices stated on the website at the time of booking apply. As an educational service, the examination fees are exempt from value added tax (§ 4 no. 21 German VAT Act); all prices are final prices. All exams are conducted digitally.

5. Conduct of the exam

The exam takes place on the booked date at the stated location. Please arrive in good time and identify yourself with a valid photo ID.

For partial examinations: If you are taking only the oral or only the written part, please bring proof that you have already passed the other part — a copy or photo of your certificate or results sheet. Without this proof participation is not possible; there is no claim to a refund in this case.

6. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds

Up to 14 days before the examination date you can reschedule or cancel free of charge via the personal link in your confirmation email; if you cancel, we refund examination fees already paid. Rescheduling is only possible to dates that are themselves more than 14 days away — for a later date we would have to register you with telc again in good time.

From 14 days before the date, rescheduling and cancellation are only possible against a processing fee of 50 €; please contact us by phone or email.

7. Right of withdrawal

8. Liability

The examination centre is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and under the Product Liability Act. In the event of slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise, liability is excluded.

9. Final provisions
